The For Teachers, By Teachers Conference is a grassroots professional learning experience driven by ideas developed and presented by educators, ensuring the highest possible relevance and value. Designed for educators across all K–12 content areas, the conference is centered on the theme “Immediate Impact.” Sessions emphasize practical, ready-to-implement strategies, policies, procedures, and instructional practices that participants can apply directly in their classrooms and schools in the upcoming academic year. Our keynote speaker is award-winning educator Nikia Garland, and all subsequent sessions will be facilitated by current classroom teachers who understand the real-world challenges and opportunities of today’s educational landscape. Conference registration includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with snacks and coffee available throughout the day. The event will conclude with a dedicated networking session, followed by a comedy performance featuring headliner “Educator Andrea” Forcum.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Immediate Impact.” Accordingly, we are seeking presentation proposals that equip educators with strategies, tools, and insights they can implement in their classrooms right away. Sessions that are broadly applicable across grade levels and content areas tend to resonate most with participants, so we encourage you to keep wide relevance in mind when crafting your proposal.

Presenters whose sessions are selected will receive complimentary conference registration and a 5% revenue share for every attendee who registers using their unique discount code, providing an opportunity to offset travel and lodging expenses. Individuals who register with your code will also receive a 5% discount on their own conference fee.

For those of you whose school or district may not pay for professional development opportunities, we hope you are not limited by this lack of support. However, we do know that many of you are in this position. As a result, we want to offer a scholarship for free entry to the conference and comedy show to THREE individuals who are willing to create a short video explaining who they are, why they want to attend the conference, and how they will use the knowledge they gain to make their class and school better.
